I started my career building PCs in 1993 while going to school. I Taught myself DOS and Basic on my first computer a 286 “Turbo” 12MHZ. Jumped into the Industrial Electronics Field in 1994, automating Fork lifts for warehouse and pharmaceutical companies, after getting married a year later, I knew I was going to need to look for a career where I could give more to my family for our future, and travel less.
In 1999 started working at Mattson Technology as a Field Service Engineer in Semiconductor Manufacturing specializing in Rapid Thermal Processing……7 layoffs later and many years of studying the chemistries and physics of not only optical measurement and thermal processes but developing advanced devices in controller and DRAM design facilities. I worked my way up to become one of 2 RTP and Plasma specialists in the US, but in March of 2009 among with the other 3,000 employee’s involved in Qimonda, I was laid off.
After 10 months of job searching, I was left with nothing but faith, and worry. I decided on New Years that it was my time to take matters into my own hands after my wife kept telling me how much I could do to help other people like I had done for many companies and in my own family………
I created gOta-Batty as a resource for others who need technical and mechanical expertise in any area of their home or business. Let my 17 years of experience work for You!
